Abstract :
Iranian Islamic culture and civilization has various sciences and knowledge, wisdom, manners and traditions that have been derived from the historical periods and identity of Iranians. In Farabi's thought, the structure of active intellect, communication and Iranian thinking aligned with the utopia and the two words nation and nation have been formed, and he considered these factors to be the most important factors in the structure of the culture and civilization of any nation. Based on this, the main goal of the research is to analyze the role of Farabi in the formation of Iranian Islamic culture and civilization. Now, in order to reach this goal, the current research has used the research method of analytical studies and the method of collecting information in the form of library studies. The results showed that Farabi expresses the evolution of culture and civilization in society based on communication. From Farabi's point of view, the mastery of each of fallacies, arguments, speeches, polemics, and poetry, with the name of the model that communicates the most of Medina, determines the culture (nation) and society (Madina/Ummat) is special; Because each sign of communication creates a special semantic system and determines the establishment of a certain culture and civilization. In addition, in a general summary, it can be acknowledged that Farabi, in relation to Iranian culture, absorbed Greek philosophy in his religious mentality in such a way that he could accept Islam and Iranian culture. Therefore, he took the basis and basis of "world-oriented" Greek philosophy from Iranian Islamic culture in order to give it "God-oriented" forms. Therefore, Farabi created a philosophy for the Iranian Islamic culture that is only upright and not stoic, pedestrian and neo-platonic, and has been influenced and influenced by all philosophical schools, but its soul is the Islamic spirit. Therefore, he has played a valuable role in the history of culture and civilization of Islamic Iran.
