Abstract :
Identifying the points of doubt, question, and ambiguity in any subject is the first step in strengthening the intellect of that subject, so that with this method, an appropriate response to that doubt can be reached. The field of inheritance, which is also called the science of obligatory acts, is no exception to this issue. Because the science of obligatory acts is one of the most valuable and highest knowledge. Because the Quran considers it as a (commandment from Allah), an order from God, and the Prophet recommended learning and teaching it. The science of obligatory acts is of great importance because the Prophet (ﷺ) considered it half of the knowledge and it is among the sciences that are forgotten and taken away from people sooner than other sciences. Regarding the science of obligatory acts and how to divide inheritance and the regulations related to it in Islam and other religions, numerous questions, ambiguities, and doubts have been raised. In the following article, its ambiguities in Islam and its comparison with other religions are addressed using a descriptive-analytical method, and answers to these ambiguities and doubts have been provided.
