Abstract :
Moral responsibility has organizational levels. This issue has been addressed in the moral system of Islam and many religious teachings and hadith sources. Given that moral responsibility is one of the pillars of judgment in the science of ethics, the meaning of moral responsibility in this article is the same responsibility before God, the result of which is punishment and retribution in the hereafter, and sometimes it may also have worldly punishment. In this article, the author aims to answer the question: "What is the philosophy and criteria of moral responsibility?" Based on the narrations of the infallibles (peace be upon them), he has explained the subject. The findings of this article indicate four bases for realizing moral responsibility, five criteria for intensifying and three criteria for mitigating moral responsibility. This research is an applied research in terms of purpose and a qualitative research based on library resources in terms of data collection. In terms of research method, it is also descriptive and analytical.
