The philosophy of the foundations of Islamic education in Ibn Rushd's educational ideas

Abstract :
The purpose of the present study is to investigate the philosophy of Islamic education and training from Ibn Rushd's point of view. In terms of purpose, the research is applied and in terms of nature, it is qualitative and descriptive-analytical. Exploring the depth of Ibn Rushd's thought indicates that he believes in following the method of induction and proof in understanding issues even in Sharia, and in fact, he considers education and acceptance of religion to be compatible with reason and logic. This growth of taste, aesthetic and vital education including art, music and sports is necessary for the growth and refinement of taste and effective, coordinated and balanced movement. He calls for responsible education, which means a commitment to freedom and choice, so that people are guided to the right careers to do what they deserve, because moderation is happiness. Ibn Rashd also emphasizes the following things in education and training: intelligence in education and gaining experience, teaching the necessity of openness to others and avoiding isolation, education in a happy atmosphere and away from violence. Teaching communication with differences, religious education and teaching values and ethics to young people, realistic stories to develop logic, teaching and educating people according to their talents and considering individual differences in education, inculcating the values of beauty, education and Education based on the two basic goals of soul safety and body health (the need for physical education and healthy music education from an early age).
