The largest share in scientific productions belongs to Tehran University of Medical Sciences and the largest share in patents belongs to Amirkabir University. The results indicate that there is no significant correlation between scientific products and university patents and universities have not been able to turn their theoretical and scientific knowledge into applied knowledge. Officials should lead the country's universities to Three-generation universities, so that an innovation-based economy can be achieved by turning knowledge into technology and creating innovation and scientific knowledge will be applied and scientific productivity will be achieved.
