Relationship between Leader's Affective Capital and Organizational Health with Considering to the Mediating Role of Nurses’ Affective Capital

Abstract :
Abstract: Supervisors play an important role in the nurses’ vigor and vitality and the health of the work environment. This research was carried out with the aim of determining the relationship between the leader's affective capital and organizational health considering to the mediating role of nurse’s affective capital. The research method was correlation in the framework of structural equation modeling and the statistical population of the study was nurses of a governmental hospital in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, among which 196 persons were selected trough accessible sampling manner. Researcher made Leader’s Affective Capital Questionnaire (LACQ), Affective Capital Questionnaire (ACQ) and Organizational Health Questionnaire (OHQ) were used to measure research variables. Results revealed that there is a positive significant relationship between leader's affective capital with nurse’s affective capital and organizational health (p<0.01), also there is a positive significant relationship between nurse’s affective capital and organizational health (p<0.01). Results of structural equation modeling and mediation analysis (bootstrap test) indicated that nurse’s affective capital is a complete mediator on the relationship between leader's affective capital and organizational health.
